Macks Plastering does not have any full time vacancies at present, however, we often require additional labourers and plasterers for jobs on a casual basis.

Plasterer's Labourer

This is a self employed casual vacancy.  Previous labouring experience is preferred but not essential.  Duties will include moving materials, mixing plaster and cleaning tools and work areas.  Will involve heavy lifting.  Safety boots are required, other tools and safety equipment will be provided.  A driving licence and your own transport are desirable but not essential, depending on your proximity to Hook, Hampshire.

Plasterer / Plasterer's Improver

This is a self employed casual vacancy.  Must have previous experience of plasterer’s labourer or improver, and/or have recently qualified as a plasterer.  Should hold a CSCS card.  Duties will include moving materials, mixing plaster, cleaning tools and work areas, putting up plaster board, skimming and assisting plasterers with their work as requested.  Will involve heavy lifting.  Safety boots are required and you should provide your own hawk and trowel.  Other tools and safety equipment will be provided.  You should be able to carry out your own risk assessment.

Work is typically domestic.  Applicant must be able and willing to work on own initiative as part of a small team, be health and safety aware, self-motivated and have a methodical approach to work.  A driving licence and your own transport are preferred.  Salary dependant on experience.
 

Please note that any work offered by Macks Plastering is done so on a self employed basis.  This means that you are responsible for registering with HM Revenue & Customs and paying your own national insurance and tax.
